How to Apply for Aid

1. Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA®)

Once you receive your offer of admission, visit the FAFSA site to obtain a Federal Student Aid ID (FSA ID). You’ll fill out the FAFSA form, ideally as soon as possible after October 1 — the date the form opens for the upcoming school year. Whether you’re an undergraduate or graduate student, completing the FAFSA every year you attend ASU ensures your eligibility for financial aid.

Students should not exit the website until they have electronically signed the application using their FSA ID and received confirmation that their information has been successfully submitted to the U.S. Department of Education. ASU may also request documentation.
