On November 20, Alabama State University will honor the men and women who have served our nation while investing in the students who carry that legacy forward.
The Annual Military Ball, hosted by the Office of Accessibility and Veteran Affairs in partnership with the Student Veterans of America ASU Chapter, will bring veterans, service members, military-connected students, their families and community supporters together for an unforgettable evening at the John Garrick Hardy Center Ballroom.
The celebration begins at 6 p.m. with a cocktail hour, followed by the formal ball at 7 p.m. Guests will embrace the tradition and elegance of the occasion in black-tie attire or ceremonial military uniforms.

Behind the evening’s elegance is a mission that reaches far beyond the ballroom.
Funds raised through the Military Ball will help provide scholarships, educational opportunities and professional development for ASU’s military-connected students.
For these students, that support can mean more than financial assistance. The proceeds from the ball can also provide greater access to opportunity, stronger pathways to success and the confidence that their University and community stand behind them.
