Alabama State University has established a chapter of the Omega Nu Lambda National Honor Society (ONL), an academic honor society exclusively for online students. Admission is merit-based and by invitation only. The Omega Nu Lambda National Honor Society (https://www.omeganulambda.org) recognizes academic achievement, provides scholarship opportunities, and fosters a strong community among high-achieving online students.

Online undergraduate students who have completed at least 15 credit hours of online coursework at ASU with a cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher, and graduate students who have completed at least 15 credit hours with a cumulative GPA of 3.65 or higher, may be invited to join. Invitations are issued during the Fall and Spring semesters, and eligible students will receive an official email with instructions and a deadline to accept membership.
