Our Virtual Orientation at ASU is MANDATORY. It allows you and your parents to:

• Engage with university leaders and faculty and learn about classroom expectations.

• Receive information about your course schedule.

• Learn about student services and "life outside the classroom."

• Meet members of our Student Government Association (SGA), Miss ASU, Student Orientation Services (SOS) Team and other ASU upperclassmen.

• Become an official member of Hornet Nation!

Registration Information**

The registration cost for New Student Virtual Orientation is:

• $100 for ASU Students

*PLEASE NOTE:  ALL fees are non-refundable and there is NO on-site registration.

Operation Hornet Nation: New Student Orientation is reserved for students who have been officially accepted into Alabama State University. This means that you have an Alabama State University student identification number and an official date of acceptance. If you have not been fully admitted, then you will need to contact the Office of Admissions and Recruitment at 334-229-4291.
