Yesterday, Alabama State University hosted the Montgomery.AI Conference, bringing together students, educators, industry professionals and community leaders to explore the growing impact of artificial intelligence (AI).
The conference featured keynote addresses from Dr. James Locke of Troy University’s Center for AI Research and Education and Boyd Stephens of the I-85 Cyber Corridor Initiative.
They discussed how AI is shaping innovation, workforce development and opportunities for communities like Montgomery. Attendees also participated in hands-on workshops, panel discussions and a city data hackathon focused on practical uses of AI in education, business and public service.
