days of giving

By Hazel Scott/ASU

From April 7-10, the entire Alabama State University community is coming together for the biggest show of support of the year: Days of Giving, a 96-hour celebration of generosity that affects thousands of students’ lives.

“This annual campaign allows alumni and friends to be a part of the collective effort that supports the work of ASU by donating generously to raise money for the University and help students achieve their goals,” said Col. (ret.) Gregory Clark, Vice President of Institutional Advancement. “Days of Giving 2025 exceeded our goal and the University hopes this year will be even better.”

This year’s goal is $500,000.

While you can always give year-round, Clark stressed that Days of Giving is a chance to showcase the strength and generosity of Hornet Nation as it unites to champion student success.

“Whether you can give $10 or $1,000, your participation acts as a catalyst. Every gift—at every level—brings us one step closer to securing those critical funds for our students,” Clark added.

Days of Giving is a robust giving opportunity wherein donations can be made to support students' access to life-changing programs and to specific entities on campus such as athletics, academic colleges and department programs, or scholarships. Donors' collective generosity will also enable innovative research, and help to continue to move ASU 150 years forward.
