In celebration of Men’s Health Month, Alabama State University Health Services, in partnership with 100 Black Men of Greater Montgomery, is proud to host a special community event dedicated to promoting men’s health and wellness.
The event, open to all members of Hornet Nation and the surrounding community, will take place on Friday, June 13 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Abernathy Hall’s Vivian DeShields Auditorium on the ASU campus.
“This event is about empowering men to take charge of their health and well-being,” said a representative from ASU Health Services. “We’re excited to bring together resources that support physical, mental and financial wellness in one accessible space.”
Attendees can look forward to an engaging and informative day featuring:
- Health and fitness vendors
- Financial wellness resources
- On-site drug disposal services for the safe and secure disposal of expired or unused medications
- Free health screenings, including blood pressure, glucose and cholesterol checks
- Special guest speakers leading a men’s health discussion
