2017 – 2019            Associate Dean, CAEP Director, and SAS/CIEP Director Alabama State University, Montgomery, AL Responsibilities: Serving as ASU’s liaison with CAEP and Alabama State Department of Education. Leading faculty and staff in the development of key assessments for college to collect data. This includes aligning and tagging each indicator on key assessments to InTASC, CAEP, State, SPA, and CF standards. Then, collecting and analyzing data from key assessments. Developing a plan to establish content validity and inter-reliability with the key assessments. Developing, managing, and coordinating the Quality Assurance System. Writing and submitting the CAEP Accreditation Annual Report. Developing, managing, and evaluating recruitment plan. Collecting and reporting retention efforts and data. Developing a process to monitor field and clinical placements and diversity of placements. Collaborating with partners to establish expectations for candidate entry, preparation, and exit. Collaborating with partners to design clinical experiences of sufficient depth, breadth, diversity, coherence, and duration to ensure that candidates acquire the knowledge, skills, and dispositions to be effective educators, counselors, and leaders. Coordinating, revising, and submitting the Graduate School Bulletin. Assuring all accreditation criterion concerning academics are enforced. Overseeing systematic review of course syllabi, checklists, and standards and recommend improvements as needed to Departmental Chairs and Program Coordinators.
