One of Alabama State University’s annual signature events, The President’s Gala, is returning to the Dunn-Oliver Acadome on Alabama State University’s campus.

“The Gala being back on the campus of Alabama State University invites the Montgomery community inside the hallowed grounds of this historic institution. Reviving the Gala at the Acadome helps us to display fully the beauty and wealth of talent that’s on the campus of this great institution. Also, constituents will be able to meet some of our outstanding students and see the caliber of future graduates that ASU produces,” said Audrey Parks, director of Development.

President Quinton T. Ross Jr.’s signature event is best described as an evening of glamour, glitz, entertainment, dinner, dancing, donor recognition, student highlights and entertainment. The ticketed event is Friday, Sept. 1, at 7 p.m. with a pre-Gala reception at 6 p.m. to kick off the evening.

At the heart of the evening’s entertainment will be the incredible sounds of international recording artist Brooke Alford, renowned for her electric performances on the violin.  Her performance will be backed by The Brooke Alford Experience Band.  Alford’s unique blend of contemporary jazz, R&B, and soulful melodies have captivated audiences around the world.
