It’s not always people who get in the way of exceptional service delivery, sometimes it’s the policies and/or processes that negatively impact service.

The Prattville Small Business Academy in conjunction with ASU Small Business Development Center is offering a  free virtual course module, Customer Service  Is Your Business:  Exceeding Expectations,  from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. July 21.

Participants will examine how identifying ways to exceed their customer’s needs can give you the insights needed to create a strategy for continued success.

Training will focus on strategies to:

  •         Minimize the impact of barriers on service delivery
  •         Create a blueprint to consistently exceed your customer’s expectations

This course is led by Kim Anderson, founder of Performance Advantage Solutions. Anderson has trained hundreds of leaders and thousands of employees in the Department of Defense (civilian and military members), community and colleges  universities, nonprofits, social services, finance and Fortune 500 arenas.  She has created and led performance development programs for two of the largest civilian training operations in the Department of Defense (Marine Corps Community Services / MWR at Camps Butler & Lejeune).  She led the design and delivery of three customer service trainings,  two of them subsequently implemented worldwide (Marine Corps Community Services / MWR and a Fortune 500 Company).  She has facilitated Franklin Covey's All Access Pass Program for U.S. Air Force military and civilian leaders. Anderson holds a master’s degree in Adult Education and achieved the Certified Professional in Learning and Performance distinction through the American Society for Training & Development (ASTD).  She also completed ASTD's certificate program in Human Performance Improvement Technology.  Anderson’s career has spanned three decades a and three continents.

The event is co-hosted by Alabama SBDC at Alabama State University and the Prattville Area Chamber of Commerce.
