Entertainment Mogul Tracey Edmonds to Speak at ASU’s Honors Day Convocation

Alabama State University will hold its annual Honors Day Convocation on Friday, April 21, 2023 at 10 a.m. virtually at www.facebook.com/asu.

Tracey Edmonds, CEO and President of Edmonds Entertainment, and the Founder and Editor of the lifestyle, health and wellness media brand, AlrightNow.com, will be the guest speaker.

 The Honors Convocation recognizes regularly admitted undergraduate students who have demonstrated outstanding achievement throughout their academic pursuits. In general, students must have completed at least 15 semester hours of courses at ASU with a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or better to qualify for recognition.

 The program also honors ASU's Student of the Year.

 About the Speaker

Tracey Edmonds has created and produced groundbreaking projects for television, film, music, and digital media. She served as co-host of Extra TV alongside Mario Lopez and Charissa Thompson for three years, for which she earned an Emmy Award. Edmonds currently serves as the Executive Producer of College Hill: Celebrity Edition (BET), a reimagined version of the original series. Alabama State University will be the host location for the second season airing in late Spring of 2023.
