Thank you for your interest in Alabama State University talent. Career Services offers a wide range of services and programs to assist you with your recruiting needs and in accessing the more than 5,600 undergraduate and graduate students from top programs within the university.

Please do not hesitate to contact us if you do not find the information you are seeking on this website or need assistance in developing a targeted recruiting program. Organizations can take advantage of the service that best meets their employment needs. A career coordinator will work with the organization to develop the most effective strategy. In addition, the Career Services Center is the main hub for all On-Campus Student Employment, including community service.

Register With Our Online Career Network

We can put you in touch with ASU’s best of brightest talent when you register your organization with our online career network. All you need to do is:

  1. Go to HornetCareerNetwork
  2. Create a new account
  3. Fill out all fields in the online form

Career Fairs

We sponsor a Fall Career Fair and a Spring Career Fair. These events enable organizations to meet with students and alumni from a variety of disciplines. You can register your organization online or contact us with your questions.

Placement Program

The Placement Program (Senior and Alumni Services) is a cost effective way for organizations to meet full-time employment needs. There are a variety of programs available to assist in this process. If your organization or company is seeking students for internships, co-ops, part-time employment or general volunteers, please contact Ms. Rhonda Hargrove, Coordinator Co-op/Internships and Part-Time Employment Placement Programs, at (334) 229-4804.

On-Campus Recruiting Program

Alabama State’s On-Campus Recruiting program allows companies the opportunity to conduct job interviews. If your organization or company is seeking seniors/alumni or graduate students for professional employment, please contact Ms. Ella Tucker, Coordinator Placement Programs, at (334) 229-4140 or post your organization’s information on HornetCareerNetwork, where your job listings will be available in the Career Services Center and available for all students to see.
