Program Mission & Goals
The mission of the Bachelor of Science in Rehabilitation Services with concentration in Addictions Studies (BSRS) Program is to prepare qualified entry level rehabilitation services professionals to work in partnership with people with disabilities. The primary goals of the BSRS Program include:
- developing and maintaining an educational curriculum focused on effective student learning and development in rehabilitation services
- preparing students to become professionals who are committed to effectively partnering with people with disabilities to achieve their maximum vocational, psychological, social, cognitive, and economic potential
- creating a learning environment that empowers students to become advocates for consumers within their communities, state, and nation.
