Alabama SBDC at ASU
The Alabama Small Business Development Center (SBDC) at ASU mission is to provide technical and management assistance to small businesses and prospective business owners by offering no-cost business advising and educational training to small businesses targeted for increasing employment, fostering growth and improving financial stability. The Alabama SBDC at ASU provides these services to eight counties in the central Alabama region: Autauga, Bullock, Chamber, Coosa, Elmore, Lowndes, Macon, Montgomery, and Tallapoosa.
The Alabama Small Business Development Center Procurement Technical Assistance Center (PTAC) assists Alabama small businesses interested in obtaining contracts with the Department of Defense, other federal agencies and state/local government agencies, and participating prime contractors. Its mission is to strengthen Alabama’s economy by stimulating job creation, growth, and business retention. To accomplish this goal, the PTAC offers no-cost business advising services to businesses seeking to obtain federal, state, and local government contracts.
