Is this race a rain or shine event?

You can expect the weather on race day to be hot, very hot, or just kind of warm. It may rain a little or a lot or not at all. The weather is unpredictable and cannot be assured until race morning. We will run rain or shine as long as it is safe to do so.

When and where will I pick-up my Race Bib & Shirt?

Bib pick up sites and times will be announced closer to race day.

Can I push my child in a stroller?

YES! We are a stroller friendly event. Please place yourself in the appropriate pacing area at the start line. If you will be swift, start towards the front. If you will be walking, please start towards the back.

My dog is my favorite running buddy. Can I bring my dog?

No. We LOVE dogs, but the Buzz Run is not a dog- friendly event.

I'm a social walker. Can I walk the course?

YES! Bring your friends! We ask that walkers finish the 5K in an hour. We have an amazing group of volunteers who will help keep you on track.

Is the Buzz Run accessible for self-propelled wheelchair racers and duo teams?

YES! If you are self-propelled or part of the push-assist community, we welcome you. Please reach out to scrayton@alasu.edu to discuss how we can support your race.

Is there parking near the start lines?

There is ample FREE and convenient parking near the 5K start line at ASU Stadium. Specific details will be provided closer to the day of the race.

My plans changed, what are my options?

Buzz Run does not offer refunds as it is a fundraising event. All proceeds support ASU’s Track and Field and the Department of Aerospace Studies.

Plan to stick around for a great after-party!

Once you have completed the course, you aren’t going to want to leave right away. Stick around. Visit our sponsors. And join us for the ribbon cutting of the new ASU track at the Houston Markham Complex.
