ASU to Host Piano for Children, Sept. 24 - Nov. 20

The Department of Music at Alabama State University will offer the Fall Piano for Children program for children ages 6-12. The weekly after-school group piano lessons are held at ASU's Tullibody Music Building.  The classes are led by two-time Grammy award nominee and current ASU piano professor, Dr. Adonis Gonzalez, and national board certified music teacher and ASU music education program coordinator, Dr. Michael Zelenak.

The fall Piano for Children session runs for 9 weeks, from September 24th through November 20th, and at the end of the 9 week session, the children get to perform selections at a special piano recital sponsored by the Department of Music that is open to friends and family to attend.
