School may be out for the summer, but the Montgomery Public School System (MPS) is still looking to hire for the coming school year.
To help MPS fill needed positions at five schools, Alabama State University will host a Job Fair, titled Preventing School Violence in Montgomery Public Schools (PSV-MPS), to fill several open positions -- security technician IVs and campus security guards. “ASU’s Academic Affairs Department is targeting five schools in Montgomery --- Brewbaker Intermediate, Chisholm Elementary, Dozier Elementary, Dannelly Elementary and Highland Gardens Elementary -- though once they are hired by MPS, they may be assigned to other schools,” said Shauntae Smith, ASU (PSV-MPS) School Climate Coach.
