ASU & AAMU Choirs Compete in Annual "Battle of the Choirs" for Magic City Classic

The choirs from Alabama State University and Alabama A&M will get a chance to showcase their musical prowess on stage while their schools’ football teams prepare to square off on the gridiron during the festive Magic City Classic week in Birmingham.

The annual “Battle of the Choirs” kicks-off on Wednesday, Oct. 23, at 6 p.m. at Sardis Missionary Baptist Church in Birmingham, which is located at 1615 4th Court West.

The event is free, but donations are appreciated.

The night’s entertainment will showcase some of the most talented singers and musicians found on any school's campus with both battling choirs singing traditional and contemporary gospel favorites.
