ART Talks: Visual Storytelling with Shawn Martinbrough, Feb. 26

The Alabama State University Department of Visual Arts will host ART Talks: Visual Storytelling With Shawn Martinbrough on Fri, February 26, 2021 from 1 to 2 p.m. CST.
This virtual event is FREE to ASU students, faculty and staff and is open to the general public. However, we ask that you register in advance at https://www.eventbrite.com/.../art-talks-visual.... Tickets are available on a first come first serve basis. One (1) ticket per registered guest.
We ask that if possible, non-students who wish to attend please make a minimum donation of $10 to the ASU Foundation, Visual Arts Department Fund. 100% of all donations received are used to support ASU Department Visual Art events, exhibitions and programs, such as this one.

About Shawn Martinbrough
Shawn Martinbrough is a creator/artist whose DC Comics, Marvel and Dark Horse Comics projects include “Batman: Detective Comics”, “DMZ”, “Luke Cage Noir”, “The Black Panther: Man Without Fear” and “Hellboy”.
He has co-created characters featured in the films, “Deadpool”, “Justice League”, the animated “Batman: Gotham Knights” and the television series “GOTHAM”, “The GIFTED” and “BATWOMAN”.
Martinbrough is a Native New Yorker and an alum of both the Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School of Music & Art/Performing Arts and The School of Visual Arts.
