Alabama State University Mourns the Loss of ASU Student Mr. Terron Brooks

Alabama State University President Quinton T. Ross, Jr.


The Alabama State University family is saddened by the loss of one of its students, Mr. Terron Brooks. The 28-year-old student was an Early Childhood Education major and a native of Montgomery, who graduated high school from The Canterbury School.

"The ASU family extends our deepest condolences and prayers during this difficult time to Mr. Terron Brook's family, friends, and classmates, as well as to all faculty and staff members who knew him. His goal in life was to be a teacher and he was a deeply religious Christian, who loved Jesus Christ. His presence will be sorely missed by all who knew him," said Dr. Quinton T. Ross, Jr., President of Alabama State University.
Alabama State University has already begun to provide counseling services for those affected by Mr. Brook's death. We encourage anyone who would like to seek counseling or assistance to please contact the University's Counseling Center, which is located in the Hardy Student Center.
