Department Mission Statement

The mission of the Comptroller's Office is to operate according to established standards and to ensure the integrity and accuracy of financial records.

The Comptroller's Office is devoted to ensuring fiscal integrity in support of the University's mission by promoting continuing education. This will be accomplished by regularly communicating updates and reminders of policies and procedures to the University community.

Alabama State University (ASU) is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC) to award bachelor’s, master’s, education specialist and doctorate degrees.
