Alabama State University will present a special evening of dance with the Denver-based Cleo Parker Robinson Dance Ensemble to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the assassination of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

The event is Thursday, March 15, at 7 p.m. in the Leila Barlow Theater in the Tullibody Fine Arts Building on ASU campus.

The internationally esteemed ensemble will present a specially curated evening of dance that will move the spirit and touch the soul. The ensemble performs a dynamic body of works inspired by the African-American experience and is rooted in ethnic and modern dance traditions worldwide.
