Alabama State University ‘s Department of Theatre Arts will present one the funniest play ever, “Noises Off,” from March 7-10  at  7 p.m. nightly at the Leila Barlow Theatre in the Tullibody Fine Arts Building.

“Noises Off” audience should brace itself for an evening of pure comic chaos when they watch the follies of theatre folks in the play written by Michael Frayn and directed by ASU’s Nathan Jacobs. A show-within-a-show, audiences will see a cast of  beloved characters, including a frazzled director who begs, yells and threatens; confused actors who forget lines, miss cues and mishandle props; and too many backstage (and onstage) shenanigans.

Tickets, which are $12 for general admission and $6 for ASU students with a valid ID, can be purchased online at  Discounted tickets for groups of 10 or more are available. Leila Barlow Theatre box office opens nightly one hour before curtain.
