Alabama State University’s Communications Recording Technology program is sponsoring an impactful Financial Planning Symposium on Wednesday, March 29, at 6 p.m. in ASU’s John Garrick Hardy Student Center Theater.
The event is free and open to the public and the ASU family.
“Attendees will get a better grasp on how to control their finances, which includes tax preparation, understanding credit and gaining knowledge on financial products,” said Emery Kidd, instructor of Recording Technology, ASU Department of Communications.
Topics will include student loan repayment options, budgeting, building credit and wealth, saving for retirement, and philanthropy.
“The symposium is an evening of learning, networking and mentoring,” Kidd said.
