Guides to Alabama’s Elected Officials

The ASU Center for Leadership and Public Policy’s Division of Demographic Research Services researchs information regarding elected officials in the State of Alabama and compiles the following four directories:

These directories are available to the public at no cost by clicking the links above. The directories include the name of the official, the county or counties they serve, their next election date, and their contact information. These directories are updated during the first quarter of each year.

The Guide to Alabama’s State Officials also includes the two U.S. Senators and the members of the Alabama Congressional Delegation. The Guide to Alabama’s County Officials includes County Commissioners, Sheriffs, and Probate Judges. No municipal offices are currently in the directory.

The Center anticipates that these directories will be very useful and accessible to all Alabamians. Since the directories are in Microsoft Excel format, they can be easily downloaded to any computer that utilizes Microsoft Office applications. Additionally, once a directory is downloaded, it can be sorted by county, office, or name, making it even easier for individuals to locate and contact their elected officials.
