Education and Training

Undergraduate and Graduate Internship

CBRT offers research internship opportunities for undergraduate and graduate students throughout the academic year or during summer. If the applicant is either an undergraduate or graduate student, the selection for these research internships is based on academic credentials of the students as well as recommendation letters from two professors, in addition to maintaining a full time student status.

High School Apprenticeship

High school research apprenticeship is offered during the summer only. During the research apprenticeship these students gain exposure to meritorious research in different cancer areas as listed above.

Workshops/Seminars

CBRT offers workshops and seminars to students and faculty members. These workshops will provide training in improved technologies and instrumentation  pertaining to health disparities in cancer.

Curriculum Development

The CBRT is currently revising the BIO 425 (Immunology course) to include cancer relevant topics. The long term goal is to develop and launch a standalone cancer biology course for undergraduate and graduate students.
