tDPT Admissions Requirements

You must apply to, and be accepted in, both the ASU School of Graduate Studies and the Transitional DPT Track:

 

Application to the School of Graduate Studies

Application:  Alabama State University requires that all applicants to the School of Graduate Studies must submit an application, along with its required fee of $25.00. The online application can be found under the “Apply Now” tab found throughout the ASU website.

Test Scores:  Alabama State University requires that all applicants to the School of Graduate Studies must have either GRE (Graduate Record Exam) or MAT (Miller Analogies Test) scores on record. Additional information on these tests, respectively,  can be found at: www.ets.org/gre

Application to the Transitional DPT Track 

Portfolio Submission:  The requirements for the portfolio have been adopted from the national Physical Therapy Evaluation Tool (PTET), the APTA approved measure of PT skills for admission to tDPT education Track.   Please organize your portfolio by following the
Table of Contents for Portfoliio Development. Submit your completed portfolio to:

Submission Deadlines:
