The funds received from the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) by Alabama State University will allow the University to continue to provide quality education to the students matriculating at the University which will, in turn, provide value-added benefits to the taxpayers of the State of Alabama.
The Stimulus money will be used to replace the reduction in funding as a result of proration. Specifically, these funds will be used to replace operating funds from the various cost centers to include but not limited to restoration of personnel positions, supplies, equipment, contract services, and travel, among other things.
