Deadline Extended for Alumni Awards
 There's still time to honor two deserving ASU graduates by nominating them for the newly established Spirit of Marion and Spirit of Tullibody Awards. The awards will be presented Feb. 6, 2009, during the annual Founders' Day Convocation. The deadline for nominations is Jan. 6, 2009. -MORE-

ASU Names New Athletic Director
 ASU has appointed Monique Holland to serve as its new athletic director effective Jan. 1, 2009. Holland has served as ASU's associate director of athletics and led the university's NCAA rules education and compliance program since June 2008. -MORE-
